| La presente investigación tiene como objetivo describir las características del perfil del migrante venezolano en Colombia durante los años 2016 a 2019 y los cambios que ese perfil presentó durante ese periodo. Para el análisis descriptivo se utilizó los datos del módulo de migración de la Gran Encuesta Integrada de Hogares (GEIH) para cada uno de los años. Se analizaron diferentes enfoques teóricos de la migración debido al carácter multidimensional del fenómeno pero, para fines de la investigación, se optó por los factores de atracción y expulsión para Analizar los cambios en el perfil del migrante a lo largo del periodo analizado. Adicionalmente, se describe la relación entre Colombia y Venezuela, para mostrar el contexto del flujo. Los resultados muestran una migración determinada por el rol en el hogar, con mayor concentración en edad laboral, ubicada en ocupaciones de menor nivel al de su grado de escolaridad y mayormente informal. El trabajo concluye que la selectividad del migrante disminuye con el pasar de los años en los diferentes ámbitos analizados, atribuible a los factores de expulsión y atracción de ambos países. The present research aims to describe the characteristics of the profile of the Venezuelan migrant in Colombia during the years 2013 to 2019 and the changes that that profile underwent during that period. For the descriptive analysis, contingency tables with data from the Great Integrated Household Survey (GEIH) were used as a resource for each of the years, adding the migration module of the same. Different theoretical approaches to migration were analyzed due to the multidimensional nature of the phenomenon, but for the purposes of the research, the factors of attraction and expulsion were chosen to explain the behavior in the profile of the migrant throughout the period analyzed. Additionally, the relationship between Colombia and Venezuela is described to show the context of the flow. The results show a migration determined by the role in the home, with a greater concentration in working age, located in occupations of lower level than their level of schooling and mostly informal. The paper concludes that the selectivity of the migrant decreases with the passing of the years in the different areas analyzed, attributable to the factors of expulsion and attraction of both countries. | |
