| La presente investigación es un estudio de corte cualitativo. En ella se exploran las principales teorías con base en las cuales se estudia la migración laboral en el mundo, y se examinan los sistemas laborales migratorios presentes en dos estudios de caso: Catar y Alemania. Con base en el análisis desde un enfoque institucionalista histórico centrado en actores, se pueden observar las diversas características institucionales que conforman los sistemas laborales migratorios, así como los diversos actores que juegan un papel fundamental en su creación. Así, el estudio contribuye a tener una mayor comprensión y entendimiento sobre dos de los países receptores de trabajadores migrantes más importantes del planeta, y cuyo acercamiento a este fenómeno ejemplifica las circunstancias actuales que vive gran parte de los trabajadores migrantes alrededor del mundo.
This research is a qualitative study, that explores the main theories base don which labor migration in the world is studies, and examines the labor migration systems that exist in two case studies: Qatar and Germany. Based on the analysis from a historical institutionalist approach focused on the actors, various institutional characteristics that make up labor migration systems, as well as the various actors that play a crucial role in their creation can be observed. Thus, the study contributes to a greater understanding of two of the most important migrant worker receiving countries on the planet, and whose approach to this phenomenon exemplifies the current circumstances that many migrant workers live around the world. | |
